Dear International Students,
Recently, the respiration illness caused by the novel Coronavirus has been spreading in China. For the safety and health of all international students, the International Office advises you to read the following notice:
1.Avoid traveling to airports,bus/train station, ports and areas that are crowded to reduce risk of disease transmission, except when you are returning to your home country.
2.Do not go to any public places, like cinema, KTV, bars, etc.
3.Avoid contacting with people from the areas where the respiratory illness is prevalent, and take good care of yourself.
4.Avoid gathering, avoid visiting each other, and avoid close contact with people who have respiratory symptoms such as fever, cough, etc.
5.If you go out, please wear a mask. Wash hand carefully when returning back to the dormitory.
6.Check your temperature if proper.
7.For some students who have gone back home, we suggest you not come back Chengdu Earlier than the informed return date.
8.For some students who have gone or will travel to other countries: Once you have left Chengdu, we suggest you go back your home country after your trip.
9.For some students who just came back Chengdu from other cities in China, please stay at home for 14 days.
10.For students living-off campus in Chengdu:
Do make sure your current living address and related information are authentic and accurate. Please reconfirm it and report to the International Ofiice after any change. It is of paramount importance for us to be able to reach you, help you, and be responsible for your health and safety in case of emergency. Keep your room ventilated , clean and tidy.
11.If you want or plan to return to your home country, please inform the International Office one day in advance and attach your itinerary.
12.If you have a fever, cough or sore muscles, etc. You are requested to wear a mask and go to a hospital immediately. Doctors will suggest what to do after they give you a preliminary check. Please strictly follow doctors’ instructions and there is no need to panic.
13.Every students, please report your location and physical situation everyday to the International Office in the wechat group before 17:00.
14.The university is expected to postpone the start of new semester and the exact start time depends on the situation of the outbreak.
15.Every international students should pay full attention to the epidemic situation, but do not panic, do not believe rumors, do not spread rumors, and do not make rumors. Pay attention to the authoritative information released by the government, and make self-protection scientifically.
